Comprehensive Management Plan

The WWMD is required by the DNR to complete a comprehensive lake management plan every 10 years and make updates to that plan every 5 years. 

The WWMD has hired the services of Onterra LLC to assist us in the development of the lake management plan. Our unique waterway requires a comprehensive plan with a variety of mixed methodologies for management. The WWMD has one of the most inclusive plans and aggressive approaches to waterway management throughout the state. 

This document is made available for all waterway users to review. The WWMD utilizes this document as a guide when making important decisions related to waterway management.
